When we met Darshan, his natural surfing talent was impossible to miss. With guidance and sponsorship from Surf Synergy, he’s risen to lead the ALAS Global Tour and represent Costa Rica at the ISA World Open Championship, proving how access and support can change a life.

Adaptive Surfing
Through our partnership with ADESURFA, we offer adaptive surf coaching in Costa Rica, providing specialized instruction, custom equipment, and safe access to the ocean. Our mission: to ensure surfers of every ability experience the joy and freedom of riding waves.

Sustainability
Renewable by Nature
Costa Rica has taken care of so much of our sustainability efforts with what is done in our beautiful country.
Costa Rica promotes renewables through massive hydropower, wind, geothermal, and solar investment, achieving over 98% renewable electricity consistently, alongside policies like the National Decarbonization Plan (aiming for net-zero by 2050).

Growth doesn’t have to cost the planet. Projects like Casa Cielo and our renovated bungalows use:
Locally sourced stone, bamboo, and wood
A full water filtration and reuse system
A biodigester that turns food waste into clean energy and organic fertilizer

Permaculture in Practice
Our permaculture garden is a living example of regenerative hospitality, growing fruit, vegetables, herbs, and spices used in our kitchen and wellness programs. Guests enjoy fresh, organic ingredients while connecting directly with the land that sustains them.
Permaculture means working with the land, not against it. Our regenerative approach restores soil health, supports biodiversity, and strengthens Costa Rica’s local food systems through partnerships with nearby farmers and fishers.
