Fresh From Deigo’s Kitchen: Watermelon Salad
Ingredients for Watermelon Salad:
500g Water melón small dices
1/2 Julienned red onion
1/2 Red pepper finely chopped
1 Green onions finely chopped
1 small piece of Fresh ginger finely chopped
1 Tablespoon of Soya gluten free sauce
1 Tablespoon of Pineapple Teriyaki homemade ( or teriyaki sauce of your preference)
1 Tablespoon of Sesame oil
1 Tablespoon of Ginger oil
The juice of 1/2 lemon
cracked black pepper, to tastes
Sea salt, to taste
Instructions
1. Gather the ingredients
2. Place red onion slices in a small bowl; pour over lime juice. Allow onions to marinate while assembling the salad
3. Gently combine watermelon with all the ingredients season with black pepper.
4. Toss watermelon salad with marinated onions and season with sea salt just before serving.
